Yu-Gi-Oh! What Yugi Means To Me Yu-Gi-Oh elicits very strong feelings of nostalgia, comfort and warmth out of me. I find great solace in collecting these cards. My first ever cards were from an English print of SDJ. I didn't know a lick of English, of course, I was three years old. The first set of cards I actually played with is the Ancient Gear deck. I still own the Golem that came with it, and it is sleeved inside the very first page of my binder. I was the king of the playground. I had the best deck and strategies. I remember kids cheering loudly when they managed to steal a win out of me. Turns out I'm actually pretty garbage at trading card games, however, as I found out as an adult. I can't play the current meta for the life of me. I can't figure out combos and when to use negates at all. Right now I'm aiming to collect a Ghosts From the Past 2 booster, Gold Rare cards and Ancient Gears to fill pages in my binder, a Blue-Eyes collection, and then save up for the odd card in my wishlist.
